This course is designed to enable you to successfully handle orally and in writing a variety of uncomplicated, basic communicative tasks in a wide number of basic social situations. You will be able to ask and answer questions and participate in simple, social conversations, to understand uncomplicated speech about various topics, to read and write uncomplicated texts in various domains. This course also provides activities related to French culture in France and in French speaking countries. A wide range of sources is used as teaching materials: video, television programs, internet, magazines.
