ACC 190 Elementary Spanish

Content

This course helps you to expand the skills and strategies you will need to handle successfully a certain number of basic social situations you may encounter in daily life in Spain or in Latin-American countries, or when meeting Spanish-speaking people in your country of origin. This course is a follow-up version of ACC 090 and will continue to put emphasis on speaking and on comprehending reading material in Spanish without using translations. There will be a variety of oral and written communication tasks that will be done in small groups or in pairs. Individual 10-minute presentations in Spanish are also part of the course.

The exit level corresponds to A2 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEF).
