ACC 299 Intermediate Dutch

This course is aimed at bringing students up to the level of Staatsexamen II, the official entrance requirement of Dutch-speaking higher education in the Netherlands. Attention will be paid to both oral and written communication skills regarding increasingly complicated subjects in various domains. The course will also introduce samples of Dutch art -- such as literature, cabaret, lyrics of pop songs, poetry and theatre plays --, and discuss the specific use of Dutch language therein. CEF level: entry A2, exit B1.
