Additional Prerequisites

Please note the following:

  • One needs to have followed two of the courses listed above in order to take this course (one 200- and one 300-level).
  • This course cannot be used in order to fulfill a requirement of the Anthropology track. Therefore, students wishing to take this course must have already completed a track in anthropology (i.e., a 100-, 200- and 300-level course in the discipline).
  • One needs the special permission of the instructor in order to take this course.
  • This course is open only to students with a 3.3 GPA (minimum).
  • Please note also that SSC333 The Anthropology of European Transition is also an alternative course that one needs to have followed in order to take SSC391 (it is not in the course database yet, but will be added soon).
